Wakefield accept bid for Cockayne

Wakefield have accepted a bid from Hull KR for winger Ben Cockayne.

Cockayne, 30, was released by the Robins in 2011, moving to Featherstone and then on to Wakefield, where he has since earned a spot in the England training squad.

The Wildcats revealed that they need to raise £400,000 to balance the books, and they could re-coup a reported fee of around £30,000 for the former Normanton amateur.
