VIDEO: The NRL Rookie revealed

A new reality television series charting the journey of a group of players battling it out to win an NRL contract is launching soon.

The NRL Rookie follows the fortunes of 28 young men from around the world as they compete to win a coveted guaranteed NRL deal.

Players from the UK, Papua New Guinea, Australia, New Zealand and other countries are in the running in the Sydney-based competition.

Legends such as Adrian Lam, Mark Geyer and Brad Fittler are involved in deciding who will win the rookie contract.
