The recent Group 21 Grand Final in New South Wales, Australia, was probably not a game which caught the eye of anyone who was not local.

But it soon turned into an historical and remarkable encounter, after it ended in a draw after 80 minutes.

In the end, Denman beat Scone 24-20, but that only came after an incredible 48 minutes of extra time, making it the longest game of rugby league ever played.
