London Broncos full-back Sean Morris is delighted, though a little overwhelmed, to be in the club’s record books alongside the legendary Martin Offiah.

Morris scored five tries in his team’s 50-16 home win over Batley at the weekend, equalling the Offiah’s record of five, set in a Challenge Cup game against Whitehaven in 1999.

“I’m in very good company, probably too good a company. It’s nice to be up there in the record books up there with Martin,” Morris told the Broncos’ official website.

“I made a conscious decision this week after last week’s game when I took a lot of carries and was a bit tired, this week I was more sensible and picked my carries so I could push more in good ball and it obviously made a difference.

“We’re building in the right direction, if we can put in a good performance next week I don’t see why we can’t be pretty confident going into the last two games.”
