Prime Minister David Cameron has led the way in wishing England well as they prepare to make history by winning Rugby League World Cup 2013.

The Prime Minister is joined by a host of well-known sports stars and celebrities who have pledged their support to England’s bid to be crowned world champions for the first time since 1972 with inspiring video messages.

England face Australia at the Millennium Stadium, Cardiff, on Saturday (2.30pm) as part of a thrilling tournament-opening double-header, which follows a must-see opening ceremony underneath the stadium’s closed roof.

England have also received video messages from Wayne Rooney, Rebecca Adlington, David Haye, Gary Lineker, Lord Sebastian Coe, Roy Hodgson, Michael Palin, Stuart Lancaster, Phil ‘The Power’ Taylor, Andrew Flintoff, Ed Clancy, Andy Farrell and James Anderson.
