Parramatta have claimed their first Auckland Nines crown with a 22-4 victory in the final over the New Zealand Warriors.
More than 70,000 people attended the event at Eden Park over the two days.
Parramatta were convincing tournament winners on the back of an eight-try haul to youngster Bevan French and six tries to winger Semi Radradra.
The Eels topped their pool and reached the decider with wins over Newcastle and Melbourne.
Gold Coast defeated Manly 24-4 in the quarter-finals, the Warriors beat Canberra 16-8, the Storm were too good for North Queensland 14-6 and Parramatta edged the Knights 12-8.
In the semi-finals New Zealand dominated the Titans 22-4 and Parramatta defeated Melbourne 17-8. Last year’s Auckland Nines winners South Sydney did not make it out of the pool stage while Brisbane failed to win a game.
The Australian Jillaroos lost to New Zealand 2-1 in their best-of-three series.
