Salford chief executive Martin Vickers has stated that Cory Patterson and Harrison Hansen are staying put at the club.

Rumours have linked both players with exits from the club, with Catalans Dragons reported to be monitoring Hansen’s situation.

Red Devils owner Dr Marwan Koukash also stated in his Manchester Evening News column this week that no other players will be leaving the club.

“The reality is both Hansen and Paterson are contracted players for 2016 and we have had no formal offer for either player,” Vickers told BBC Radio Manchester.

“Both players remain firmly focused on our crucial game against Leigh on Sunday.

“Tim Sheens and the coaching staff are making good progress in the building of a strong side for 2016 and, if there are any offers for such players at the end of the season, Tim will decide on such issues.”
