Two Super League players have received formal cautions for dangerous play in their team’s Engage Super League Round 19 fixtures.

Castleford Tigers full-back Ryan McGoldrick was cautioned for using his knees while in possession of the ball in the 79th minute of Sunday’s match against Bradford Bulls.

Catalans Dragons player Frederic Vaccari received a caution for using his forearm to place undue pressure on the face of Sean Long of Hull FC during a tackle in the eighth minute of last Friday’s match at KC Stadium.

The cautions were issued following a meeting of the RFL’s Match Review Panel on Monday and will remain on both players’ disciplinary records for consideration in the event of future incidents.
