New Zealand full-back Roger Tuivasa-Sheckis looking forward to facing one of his club coaches when England play the Kiwis in the forthcoming Test series.

England coach Steve McNamara has been the assistant coach at Sydney Roosters in recent times, and ‘RTS’ thinks that McNamara may have some insider knowledge that the Kiwis will need to combat.

“I’m excited for it. We’ve got some new players in our Kiwi team and I’m looking forward to working with them,” he said.

“I can’t wait to play against Steve [McNamara] and his team.

“He knows a lot about how we play, the Roosters boys.

“I can’t say I know how he’ll coach because he’s probably different when he’s a head coach, but it’s going to be exciting to see how we go.

“I know he’ll be telling his boys a few things that he can catch us with.

“I’ve got to work hard at training to see if I can counter those.”
