Widnes have announced that MacGraff Leuluai, Jack Johnson and Liam Cooper will all depart the club ahead of the 2021 season.

Leuluai, 30, will be heading home for family reasons after first joining Widnes in 2011, going on to spend 10 seasons with the club. During his time at the club, he made 196 appearances and scored 15 tries.

Johnson, 24, joined the club ahead of the 2020 season from Featherstone Rovers, having left Warrington Wolves where he progressed through the academy system. He scored five tries in seven games before the cancellation of the campaign.

Cooper, 23, is a St Helens academy product, and joined the club ahead of the 2020 season. Due to an ankle injury, he did not make his debut for the club.

“Widnes Vikings would like to wish MacGraff, Jack and Liam the very best in their future endeavours away from the club,” the club announced.

“We would also like to thank all three players for their efforts in Black and White throughout their time at the DCBL Stadium, both on and off the field.”
