Three Super League players have escaped suspension following incidents in their clubs’ matches at the Magic Weekend in Edinburgh.

Wigan’s Sean O’Loughlin was cautioned for a high tackle on Luke Robinson in the Warriors win over Huddersfield, in an incident which left Giants coach Nathan Brown far from happy.

Brown, who escaped punishment from the RFL, said:  “Officials should protect the smaller players. If they can’t, we have players who can.”

Salford half-back Stefan Ratchford was cautioned for a dangerous throw on Warrington centre Ryan Atkins while Catalans forward Olivier Elima was cautioned for a tackle which placed undue pressure on the shoulder joint of Castleford’s Paul Jackson in the 61st minute of their game on Sunday.
