Promising front-rower Trae O’Sullivan has signed a one-year contract with Bradford.

O’Sullivan has impressed Bradford coach John Kear while on trial at the Bulls this off-season, making his debut in the Yorkshire Cup against Keighley Cougars.

The young forward has previously played for Keighley, Batley Bulldogs, Hunslet and Coventry Bears.

On signing O’Sullivan, Kear said: “Trae has responded really well to the environment we have got here, he’s trained well, and I think everyone will agree that his stint against Halifax, he performed well.

“He is an outstanding kid, he is very strong and very big. If you are big, strong and have a good attitude then you are halfway there.”
