Toulouse have signed Italy forward Brenden Santi for the 2019 season.

The 25-year-old front-rower or loose forward made his professional bow for Wests Tigers back in 2014.

Santi has also spent time at Parramatta Eels and has made a total of 25 NRL appearances. He enjoyed two spells at the Tigers, and has also played for Townsville Blackhawks and Wyong Roos.

On joining Toulouse, Santi said: “I am very excited to join Toulouse.

“I really like the ambitious project of the club and I look forward to meeting my team-mates and expressing myself on the ground.”

Olympique chairman Bernard Sarrazain commented: “The power and explosiveness of Brenden will work wonders in our pack of forwards and I’m sure it will please many of our fans.

“I know he is very motivated and we look forward to having him in Toulouse next weekend.”

Santi has 11 caps for Italy, and played for the Azzurri in the 2013 and 2017 World Cups.
