France international Paul Marcon has committed to Toulouse for the 2019 season.

The 23-year-old winger arrived at Olympique back in 2013 after a spell with Villeneuve in France’s Elite One Championship.

Marcon has scored 30 tries in 52 games for Toulouse and gained international honours in the autumn, playing for France against England as well as helping his country win the European Championship and gain qualification to the 2021 Rugby League World Cup.

On his new deal, Marcon said: “I am very happy to stay at Toulouse for the 2019 season.

“I hope to help achieve our goal which is getting to Super League. I returned to training last Monday and we are already working very hard to be at our best.”

Olympique chairman Bernard Sarrazain commented: “After wearing the jersey of Tolouse in the lower grades, it is always a pleasure to see young players such as Paul evolve with the professional team.

“Paul is one of those who represent the future of the club.”
