Toulouse lose Plana for six to eight weeks

Toulouse Olympique have revealed that they will be without captain Sebastien Planas for six to eight weeks.

The skipper sustained a fractured eye socket in last week’s Challenge Cup tie with Wakefield.

Planas apparently took a blow in a tackle from Anthony England in the opening moments of the game, but refused to leave the action until half an hour had passed.

A scan earlier this week confirmed the extent of the injury.
