Toronto star Andrew Dixon picks up one-match ban

Toronto back-rower Andrew Dixon has received a one-match suspension and a £250 fine for a Grade B dangerous contact charge.

The 28-year-old pleaded guilty to but challenged the grading of the Grade B dangerous contact charge he picked up in the Wolfpack’s 64-0 win over Barrow Raiders.

Dixon will now serve a one-match ban and pay a £250 fine.

Elsewhere, Dewsbury Rams ace Macauley Hallett pleaded guilty to but challenged the grading of a Grade D dangerous contact charge he received in their 58-12 loss to Leigh Centurions.

Featherstone Rovers front-rower Gareth Hock has accepted a one-match suspension from the match review panel.
