Toronto Wolfpack have signed former Leigh front-rower FuiFui MoiMoi for the 2017 season.

MoiMoi had two seasons with the Centurions after joining from Parramatta.

The 37-year old made 44 appearances in total with Leigh. The Tongan and New Zealand international had 14 years with the NRL.

Toronto head coach Paul Rowley said: “It’s a magnificent coup for the Wolfpack to acquire Fui’s services. He’s an iconic brand and will add an additional physical presence to an already impressive lineup.

“His wealth of international and club experience will be a great benefit both on and off the pitch.

“I also think that our club fans especially those based in Toronto and North America will love his free flowing and aggressive style of play, as we all know, he has left dents all over Australia, New Zealand & the UK.”

The Wolfpack have signed a deal with Premier Sports to broadcast all of their 2017 and 2018 home and away matches in the UK.

Premier Sports Operations Director, Richard Webb said: “We are thrilled to be back covering Rugby League in the UK with live broadcasts of all Toronto Wolfpack home and away games in their first professional season.

“We regard this as one of the most exciting developments in the recent history of the sport and it is an honour to be part of it. We hope fans of all clubs get behind our coverage again which was very well received when we showcased the Championship a few years ago.

“2017 is looking like our strongest year to date of Rugby League with all 206 games from the NRL, every game from the RLWC 2017 and all Toronto Wolfpack fixtures live.”

Toronto have also announced two pre-season fixtures, where they will take on Hull FC and Wigan.

The Wolfpack have also formed a partnership with Kappa to develop their official team kit and merchandise.
