Toronto Wolfpack have confirmed that they have teamed up with Game TV, CBC Sports and Premier Sports for the 2018 season.

In Canada, Game TV and CBC Sports (online-based) will have the rights to show Wolfpack home and away games in the 2018 Betfred Championship season, including the Super 8s as well as the regular season.

Scott Lidbury, Wolfpack general manager, said: ““Broadcast partnerships play a huge role in engaging our fans here in Canada. Showing home and away games on both Game TV and CBC Sports was instrumental in helping us raise our profile in 2017. We very much look forward to working together again for the new season.”

“Thanks to our two partners, supporters are able to watch the Wolfpack whether they are at home, on the move or in their local sports bar.”

Premier Sports will be the UK Broadcast partner, showing both home and away fixtures (Sky channel 428 in HD, 462 in SD and Virgin channel 551). This includes being the host broadcaster for Toronto away games with footage provided to both CBC Sports and Game TV.

For home fixtures, the Wolfpack will be working with broadcast partners to produce a new and improved live match feed.

The Betfred Championship opener between Leigh Centurions and Toronto at the Leigh Sports Village will be the first game shown as part of the new deal.

The game kicks off at 3pm in the UK (Premier Sports) and 10am in Canada (Game TV and CBC Sports).
