Toronto ace Jack Bussey facing long ban for biting

Toronto forward Jack Bussey has received a Grade F charge for biting and he could be banned for over eight games.

The 26-year-old has received a Grade F charge for biting Toulouse Olympique star Bastien Ader during Saturday’s clash in The Qualifiers. He could be out for eight games or over.

Bussey has also received a one-match penalty notice for a Grade B high tackle in the same game.

Elsewhere, Warrington Wolves winger Tom Lineham faces a three-match ban for a Grade C high tackle on Wigan Warriors star Dom Manfredi. He is set to miss Warrington’s final two games in the Super 8s as well as their semi-final play-off.

Leeds Rhinos forward Brett Ferres is facing a one-match ban for Grade A dangerous contract, while Catalans Dragons front-rower Mika Simon has picked up a one-match ban for Grade B punching.

London Broncos’ Will Lovell has been given a one-match penalty notice for a Grade B shoulder charge.

London hooker Eloi Pelissier and Widnes Vikings back-rower Tom Olbison have not received suspensions for respective Grade A trips and Grade A dangerous contacts.
