Widnes have released winger Ryan Ince by mutual consent.

Ince, 22, is a product of the club’s academy and has scored 31 tries in 46 appearances, including 19 in 22 this season.

A club statement said: “The club would like to thank Ryan for his efforts during his time with Widnes Vikings, and wish him all the best for his future endeavours.”

Ince wasn’t selected in the Vikings’ 19-man squad for the 1895 Cup final defeat to Sheffield at the weekend.
