Two players are facing one-match suspensions after an International Match Review Panel charged them with making illegal tackles during last Saturday’s Gillette Four Nations matches.

Wales forward Craig Kopczak has been charged with making a dangerous shoulder charge on Sam McKendry of New Zealand in the 55th minute of the opening match at Wembley.

Australia forward Tony Williams has been charged with making a high tackle to the head of Ben Westwood of England in the 47th minute of the second match at Wembley.

Both players have until 11.00am on Tuesday to accept the charges, which carry an automatic one-match ban, or contest them in front of an International Disciplinary Committee, which would convene on Tuesday evening.

A third player, Neil Budworth of Wales, has received a formal caution for a high tackle on Sam McKendry in the 15th minute of his side’s defeat by New Zealand.
