Tony Gigot has revealed he will not be a Catalans player in 2020.

The 28-year-old will leave the Dragons when his contract expires at the end of the season.

A France international, was tabled a new deal by Catalans but the club withdrew their offer due to not having a response from the player.

Gigot told L’Independant: “People have suspected this for some time and now the club has announced they have withdrawn the contract.

“I would have liked to finish this season by qualifying for the play-offs but I just want to try to end on a good note.

“This club has been by my side, but I do not know what the future will be for the next few years, and whether or not one day I will come back.”
