Tomkins out for six weeks

Wigan forward Joel Tomkins is set to miss the first six games of the season with a knee injury.

The Warriors confirmed today that Tomkins will be out for approximately six weeks.

The 28-year picked up the knee complaint in the friendly loss to Salford.
