Huddersfield half-back Tom Holmes has announced that he will be taking on a coaching role with his former amateur club, Lock Lane.

The 23-year-old is no stranger to coaching, having previously been involved with Yorkshire Mens Premier Division side Cutsyke Raiders.

Holmes joined Castleford from Lock Lane in 2014 and made his Super league debut against Catalans 12 months later.

He will work alongside Paul Couch, Sam Lupton, Mark Spears and former Tigers, Huddersfield and Wakefield prop Craig Huby.

Lock Lane, who currently compete in the National Conference League, finished eighth last season, winning nine of their 22 league games.
