Former Huddersfield half-back Tom Holmes will return to Featherstone for the 2021 campaign.

The 24-year-old has signed a one-year deal with Rovers after his spell with Super League side Huddersfield came to an end.

Holmes said: “It was a pretty easy decision; I’ve been here before and I know what the club is about. But there were some other offers, it was right that I took my time to make my decision.

“But I spoke to James Webster, I like the recruitment that Featherstone has done, and I agree with what he is doing at Rovers and what he is planning on doing at this club next season.”

Rovers Head Coach James Webster added: “Tom is a quality player that is local and familiar with Featherstone. I had the chance to watch him play many times this year at Huddersfield.

“His versatility to play at the nine, seven and one positions gives us fantastic options, in what are exceptionally difficult positions to recruit. Having spoken to Tom at length I am really looking forward to him meeting up with the squad.”
