Tom Armstrong signs with Widnes

Widnes have snapped up Leigh centre Tom Armstrong on a two-year deal starting from 2017.

Armstrong has been with the Centurions for the past three seasons.

The 26-year old broke into Super League with St Helens in 2009.

He left Langtree Park in 2011 and has spent time with Leigh, Swinton and Sheffield.
