Toal brothers commit to Barrow Raiders

Brothers Shane and Dan Toal have committed to Barrow Raiders, signing on at the club for another year.

Loose forward Dan Toal is now determined to help drive the Raiders towards success in 2016.

“We should be aiming to win the title this year,” he told the North West Evening Mail.

“I am sure we will make the play-offs, but we have a good enough squad to do even better than that.

“I believe we underachieved last time, losing games we should not have won especially away from home early in the season.

“Finishing seventh was not good enough – we are better than that.

“We have made some good signings in Ollie Wilkes and Ryan Fieldhouse to strengthen the squad and, although it is a tough league, especially with Toulouse now back in, we should be in the running for the title.”
