Time To Party At The Stoop

Rugby league will take centre stage at Twickenham this Saturday when the annual Powergen Challenge Cup Final comes to south-west London while Harlequins RL are planning the games' biggest Cup Final Party at the Twickenham Stoop.

Special invited quests to Quins Cup Party include Shaun Edwards who won eight successive Challenge Cup finals with Wigan and lost one Cup final with London Broncos, former Lance Todd trophy winner, Henry Paul, Phil Clarke who won five Cup finals with Wigan, and Sky Sports' personality, Mike Stephenson.

St Helens, outright leaders in the engage Super League, are hot favourites to win the Cup final against Huddersfield Giants who they defeated with a ten try blitz just three weeks ago.

It won't be the first time these teams have made the trip to TW2 this season, St Helens provided some daunting opposition for Harlequins Rugby League on the opening day of Super League, while the Giants were beaten by Quins RL in the historic 'double header' at the Stoop in April.

Harlequins themselves were knocked out of this year's Challenge Cup at the quarter final stage by last year's beaten finalists Leeds Rhinos but the club still has some big plans for Saturday.

The Twickenham Stoop will stage rugby league's biggest Challenge Cup party before, during and after the big event just across the road.

Close to one thousand rugby fans are expected to attend the party and tickets are still on sale for £10 each. The Challenge Cup Party will start at 11am at the Twickenham Stoop and there is no guarantee that tickets will be available at the door. Tickets include the first beer free of charge and plenty of entertainment. Quins Cup Final Party is proudly supported by Greene King.
