Tim Mannah will stay at Parramatta for the rest of the year, despite reports suggesting he handed in a transfer request.

The Lebanon international will stay with the Eels for at least the rest of the season.

Mannah, 31, had been linked with a move to Wests Tigers earlier this season but the Eels have confirmed that he is going nowhere in 2019.

Eels chief executive Bernie Gurr said: “We are delighted that Tim will play out the 2019 season here at the Eels.

“Tim is in his 11th NRL season with the Eels and continues to be an outstanding contributor to our club.”

Mannah commented: “I am very happy to be staying at the Eels; I am a Parramatta Eels junior and I love our club.

“My total commitment is to helping our club be successful. I appreciate the support from our wonderful members and fans.”
