Tim Lafai joins Canterbury Bulldogs

Drew Darbyshire

Canterbury Bulldogs have signed centre Tim Lafai from St George Illawarra Dragons for the rest of 2020.

The 29-year-old was granted a release by the Dragons so he could link up with the Bulldogs.

Lafai, who made his NRL debut for the Bulldogs in 2011 and played five seasons at the club, will link up with Canterbury at training tomorrow.

The Samoa international has scored 48 tries in 165 NRL appearances and has represented Samoa on 12 occasions.

Lafai will be available for selection for the Bulldogs in this Sunday’s match against Newcastle Knights.
