Wests Tigers have snapped up the services of New Zealand test forward Adam Blair from Melbourne.

Blair, 25, has signed a four year deal with the club from next season and will add an edge to the Tigers forward pack.

Wests Tigers CEO Stephen Humphreys said the Club was delighted to have secured the services of Blair.

“Adam is a world class forward who has been a key member of the very successful Storm side in recent years,” Humphreys said.

“His experience, leadership and professionalism will be great assets to our Club.”

A world cup winner with New Zealand in 2008, Blair is a veteran of 114 NRL matches.

The Tigers have been busy on the recruitment front, signing Parramatta centre Joel Reddy and prop Matthew Bell from Penrith.

“The recruitment of one of the game’s best forwards in Adam Blair, along with the depth and experience provided by both Joel and Matthew, will blend very well with the existing and emerging talent we have in the Wests Tigers roster,” Humphreys said.
