Thunder Don’t Stop Believin!

It’s not been the best of seasons for Gateshead Thunder, but the message to their fans is “Don’t Stop Believin'”.

And that message comes straight from their players and staff members, including chairman Rod Findlay and Director of Rugby Chris Hood in an end of season video spoofing the song “Don’t Stop Believin” from TV hit Glee.

The video stars several players from their first team squad, as well as cameo roles for office staff and the guitar playing Hood. Check out the video below:

It’s proved an instant hit online, with numerous positive comments from a various journalists on Twitter, including SKY’s Angela Powers and freelance rugby league writer Neil Barraclough.

After a turbulent 18 months – which saw the club enter administration and then relegated, just 12 months after they had won the National League 2 title, with a six point penalty that they failed to overcome this term – it’s good to see everyone in the north east with a smile on their face!
