Three players leave Batley

Batley trio Jack Downs, Reece Dean and Danny Bravo have all left the club with immediate effect.

Back-rower Downs was standout player for the Bulldogs in the Championship last season, making 23 appearances. He leaves the club to take up an opportunity in his career which means he cannot commit to the required schedule.

Playmaker Dean, who only joined the club recently, has had a change of career which will see him spend time working away, so he will also be unavailable to meet Batley’s schedule.

Forward Danny Bravo has been with the Bulldogs for a couple of seasons but has decided to take time out of the game because of injuries.

In a statement released by Batley, it read: “We’d like to wish all three the very best of luck for the future, and in the case of Jack Downs and Danny Bravo, we thank them for their efforts with the Bulldogs.”
