Three players will appear before the Disciplinary Committee next Tuesday following their involvement in a heated brawl during the Workington v Gateshead match last weekend.

Gateshead full-back Mitchell Stevens will face two charges: the Grade C offence of punching after being sent off and the Grade B offence of using foul and abusive language to a match official.

His team-mate Reece Young has been charged with the Grade A offence of punching.

Workington winger Elliott Miller has been charged with the Grade C offence of sustained punching in the 50th minute fight.

The three players were charged after the incident was viewed by the RFL Match Review Panel, which also issued a formal caution to Matt Garside of York City Knights for making  dangerous contact with an opponent in a Co-operative Championship fixture against Widnes Vikings on June 12.
