Three players banned

Ryan Atkins, George Tyson and Dave Allen have been suspended by the indepedent disciplinary committee.

Atkins pleaded guilty to Grade C dangerous contact on Rhys Hanbury in the 11th minute of the Challenge Cup game on Friday.

The Warrington centre challenged the grading but the independent tribunal didn’t downgrade, but because of Atkins’ exemplary disciplinary record his suspension was reduced to one-match ban and he received a £300 fine.

Sheffield Eagles centre George Tyson was found guilty of a Grade C Dangerous Throw and received a two match suspension.

Whitehaven’s Dave Allen was found guilty of Grade B Foul and abusive language towards a Match Official and was given a one match suspension.

Catalans’ Eloi Pelissier pleaded guilty to Grade A tripping on Talanoa of Hull FC in the 69th minute of their Ladbrokes Challenge Cup quarter-final, a £300 fine was issued.

Sheffield’s Michael Knowles pleaded not guilty to a Grade B dangerous throw in the 72nd minute against Swinton and was found not guilty.

Huddersfield halfback Danny Brough took the Early Guilty Plea and was banned for one game.
