Three more re-sign with Hunslet

Props Anthony Henderson and Steve Lewis, and centre Liam Welham have become the latest players to re-sign with Hunslet for 2013.

The Hawks have been busy signing up the bulk of this season’s squad in recent weeks, and have also added some new faces to their line-up for next year.

Welham, formerly with Hull KR and Featherstone, missed two thirds of this year with a knee injury, but has shown enough in the final few months of the season to earn a new deal.

Lewis was previously an outside back, but has successfully made the transition in to the pack for Barry Eaton‘s side, while Henderson has been restricted to just four starts in 2012.

Eaton said: “All three players have proved their worth to the club this season and all 3 are still at a young age and will improve further in the next 12 months and we are all really excited about the clubs prospects in 2013 with the players we have already on board and the possibilities of more new faces joining soon.”
