Winger Corey Thompson has penned a one-year extension that will see him stay with Widnes until the end of the 2018 season.
Thompson joined the Vikings at the end of last year from NRL club Canterbury.
The Australian has enjoyed an impressive debut season in Super League, bagging 20 tries.
This ranks him second in the competition behind Castleford’s Denny Solomona.
Thompson’s efforts have helped Widnes to a seventh place finish in the regular season.
