Thomas relishing Scottish connection at Bradford

New Bradford pivot Oscar Thomas believes that his familiarity with many of the Bulls’ squad will help him make a positive impression in West Yorkshire next season.

The Scotland international has moved north from London Broncos, but thanks to his international experience, there are several familiar faces at Odsal.

“I’m looking forward to starting life as a Bradford player and the fact I know a few of the lads already can only help, Thomas told the Bradford Telegraph & Argus.

“Danny [Addy] and Fergie [Dale Ferguson] are top players and I think Jonny Walker will prove a very good signing for us too.

“I played with him for London and Scotland and we’re good mates.

“I think he will bring a lot of aggression to the team and he carries the ball strongly all the time.”
