London Broncos stand-off Oscar Thomas was delighted to score a hat-trick in his team’s Summer Bash demolition of Sheffield on Saturday at the Summer Bash.

Scotland international Thomas felt that the win was a real boost to the Broncos’ spririts after a difficult period of the season.

Now the side from the capital must gear up for another tough game, this time against Bradford, on the back of that win over the Eagles.

“The performance was definitely needed coming off a few tough weeks,” he told his club’s official website.

“I think going on towards the back end of the season we need to keep more consistency in our performances so we can reach the play-offs.

“It’s good to have those sorts of games where you get tries but the boys set the platform for me, I just finished them off.

“It’s good to have games like that on a big stage as it helps the teams up their game.

“We can enjoy the win over the rest of the weekend and come back to training and prepare for a big game against Bradford and we need the two points again.

“If we come out with the same attitude again, start well and get points on the board the game will take care of itself.”
