Hull KR centre Thomas Minns has been ruled out for the rest of the season with a broken foot.

Minns, 24, suffered the accident in training having re-joined his former club following a drugs ban which was due to expire on July 14.

Physio Trent Bowden said: “Thomas suffered an injury on his foot in training which required surgery. He’s likely to be out for three months.

“Thomas has been training quite well upon his return to the team and the injury is really unfortunate timing for him.”

Minns had signed a deal until the end of the campaign and will now hope he has done enough to earn a new deal for 2020.

The former Leeds and London Broncos man re-joined the Robins on a short-term deal in May.
