The 2013 Tetley’s Challenge Cup is at the round two stage this weekend with 22 community sides looking to make it into the draw for round three which will see the introduction of professional outfits.

The three armed forces sides are all in action with the ROYAL NAVY hosting SKIRLAUGH, the RAF welcoming EAST LEEDS and the BRITISH ARMY travelling to LEIGH EAST.

LEEDS MET travel down the M62 to face last season’s defeated Grand Finalists MYTON WARRIORS in what could be the standout tie of the round, whilst NCL champions WATH BROW HORNETS head to Wigan where INCE ROSE BRIDGE will be waiting.

After lifting the inaugural Conference Challenge Trophy LEIGH MINERS RANGERS will be looking to maintain their cup pedigree with a win at home over MILFORD MARLINS, whilst BLACKBROOK and OULTON RAIDERS, and HULSET OLD BOYS and SADDLEWORTH RANGERS also meet in roses encounters.

It’s derby time in Hull as WEST HULL face HULL DOCKERS and their city rivals EAST HULL are also at home when SIDDAL are the visitors.

There’s also another all NCL Premier Division clash when WIGAN ST PATRICKS take on THATTO HEATH CRUSADERS for the second time in a week. The home side will be looking to get their revenge after going down 26-18 in the opening weekend.
