Thackray banned for punching

Workington prop Jamie Thackray has been banned for one match by an RFL Disciplinary Tribunal.

Thackray, 33, was found guilty of the Grade A charge of punching during Town’s play-off defeat to Batley earlier this month.

The former Hull and Leeds forward did not have the option of submitting an early guilty plea, and was also fined £50.
