Thackray and Annakin handed bans

Workington pair Jamie Thackray and Chris Annakin have been handed two-match bans by the RFL.

Thackray, 32, admitted committing a reckless strike during Sunday’s defeat to Doncaster on Sunday, while Annakin pleaded guilty to making a dangerous throw in the same game.

The Cumbrians were beaten 20-0 to bring their season to an end.
