Team news: Warrington v Leeds (Sat)

Five players could make their debuts for Warrington on Saturday and Trent Merrin, Konrad Hurrell and Tui Lolohea are set to start for Leeds.

Warrington Wolves coach Steve Price could hand out five official debuts on Friday. Blake Austin, Jason Clark, Jake Mamo, Lama Tasi and Danny Walker could play their first games for the club.

Leeds Rhinos boss Dave Furner has included all three of his new signings from the NRL in his 19-man squad. Tonga duo Konrad Hurrell and Tui Lolohea are set to make their official debuts for the Rhinos, as is Australia international Trent Merrin.

James Donaldson could also make his official debut for the Rhinos following a successful trial period, while Ash Handley is set to start on the wing. Kallum Watkins could play his first competitive game since last May.

The televised Super League round one clash takes place at the Halliwell Jones Stadium on Saturday, 5:15pm kick-off.

Warrington’s odds to come out on top are 4/9, with Leeds being priced at 9/5.
