Team news: Wakefield v Catalans (Sat)

James Messenger

Kelepi Tanginoa is set to make his Wakefield debut, while Greg Bird and Michael McIlorum are both ruled out for the Dragons.

Chris Chester has made three changes to his side following last weekend’s dramatic defeat away at London. Tanginoa is included for the first time since arriving, while there are also places for Anthony England and Matty Ashurst. Jordan Crowther and Chris Annakin miss out, while Justin Horo has left the club.

Steve McNamara has made two changes to his side after Saturday’s historic win over Wigan at the Camp Nou. Bird (bicep) and McIlorum miss out through injury, so they are replaced by Lambert Belmas and Matty Smith.

Messenger’s money-maker: David Mead is priced at 12/1 to be first try scorer of the weekend at Anfield.

Wakefield’s 19-man squad: Matty Ashurst, James Batchelor, Mason Caton-Brown, Anthony England, David Fifita, Ryan Hampshire, Keegan Hirst, Ben Jones-Bishop, Max Jowitt, George King, Danny Kirmond, Craig Kopczak, Reece Lyne, Jacob Miller, Tyler Randell, Ben Reynolds, Junior Sa’u, Kelepi Tanginoa, Kyle Wood.
