Two of the favourites for the Championship play-offs meet in France on Saturday as Widnes travel to Toulouse.

Widnes started life back in the second tier with a commanding 40-16 win over Halifax, while Toulouse slipped to a 24-16 defeat away at new look Leigh.

The Vikings visited Toulouse in The Qualifiers last season, going down 42-22, though they are much changed from that visit.

Anthony Gelling is set to make his first away appearance having scored two and created two more on his debut last week, though Krisnan Inu is still sidelined through injury.

Kieron Purtill has made just one change to his 19-man squad, bringing youngster Liam Walsh in for Papua New Guinea international Wellington Albert, who is still struggling with a knock.

Toulouse coach Sylvain Houles has made just one change too, bringing Justin Sangare in for Maxime Puech.

Toulouse 19-man squad: Ader, Barthau, Boyer, Bretherton, Curran, Dezaria, Evans, Ford, Kheirallah, Marcon, Marguerite, Marion, Maurel, Mika, Parata, Robin, Sangare, Santi, Vaivai.

Widnes 19-man squad: Ashall-Bott, Brand, Buckley, T Chapelhow, Craven, Dean, Farnworth, Gelling, Hansen, Hood, Ince, Johnstone, Leuluai, Lyons, Owens, Tangata, Walker, Walsh, Wilde.
