Team news: St Helens v Catalans (Sun)

James Messenger

Theo Fages could return from a hip injury for St Helens this weekend, while Matty Smith is set to face his former club.

Justin Holbrook has made four changes to his squad following Easter Monday’s 11-try thrashing of Hull FC. Zeb Taia returns after being rested last time around. He is by Fages, James Bentley and Matty Costello, both of whom played on dual registration at Leigh last time out. They replace James Roby (rested), Morgan Knowles (suspended) and the injured duo of Luke Thompson and Louie McCarthy-Scarsbrook.

Steve McNamara makes just one change following their victory over Castleford. Matty Smith is given the green light to return from injury. He takes the place of Arthur Romano, who scored in the Dragons’ Good Friday win at London.

Messenger’s money-maker: Can he continue his superb scoring form? Kevin Naiqama is priced at 12/1 to be first try scorer.

St Helens’ 19-man squad: Jonny Lomax, Kevin Naiqama, Regan Grace, Theo Fages, Danny Richardson, Alex Walmsley, Zeb Taia, Joseph Paulo, Kyle Amor, Dom Peyroux, Adam Swift, Matty Lees, Jack Ashworth, Aaron Smith, James Bentley, Lachlan Coote, Matty Costello, Joe Batchelor, Jack Welsby.

Catalans’ 19-man squad: Tony Gigot, David Mead, Brayden Williame, Lewis Tierney, Samisoni Langi, Matty Smith, Remi Casty, Sam Moa, Kenny Edwards, Greg Bird, Julian Bousquet, Mickael Simon, Benjamin Jullien, Matt Whitley, Alrix Da Costa, Mickael Goudemand, Jason Baitieri, Sam Kasiano, Sam Tomkins

St Helens are 1/6 on to pick up the win at the Totally Wicked Stadium, while Catalans are 9/2 to pick up back-to-back victories.
