James Roby is back in the St Helens squad as they round off Magic Weekend against Castleford on Sunday evening.

Roby has recovered from injury and replaces Jack Welsby.

Castleford have made three changes, with Will Maher, Chris Clarkson and Daniel Smith all returning.

Jesse Sene-Lefao, who was granted permission to return home earlier this week, makes way along with Nathan Massey and Brad Jinks.

Tigers coach Daryl Powell has never lost a fixture at Magic Weekend, Castleford winning their last six games at the event.

Gordon’s gamble: James Roby is 22/1 to mark his return to the Saints side with the first try in this one.

St Helens: Lomax, Makinson, Naiqama, Grace, Fages, Walmsley, Roby, Taia, Paulo, Knowles, Amor, Peyroux, Swift, Lees, Ashworth, Smith, Bentley, Coote, Costello.

Castleford: Aston, Blair, Clare, Clark, Clarkson, Cook, Eden, Egodo, Maher, Mata’utia, McMeeken, McShane, Millington, Milner, Minikin, Rankin, Smith, Trueman, Watts.

St Helens have lost just once all season, and Castleford are 5/2 to make that two – while a draw is 22/1
