Salford can drag themselves firmly back in to the battle for a play-off spot with a win at home to Catalans on Sunday.

Lee Mossop and Derrell Olpherts return to the squad as they look to build on the impressive win at Warrington last week.

The Dragons currently occupy the fifth and final play-off spot, despite an indifferent run of form that saw them pick up a much needed win at Huddersfield.

Former Salford winger Jodie Broughton is ruled out through injury, while Samisoni Langi and Kenny Edwards also drop out of the squad.

Coming in is another former Salford man, scrum-half Matty Smith, as well as winger Fouad Yaha and back-rower Benjamin Julien.

Catalans will be seeking revenge for their 46-0 thumping at the hands of Salford in the reverse fixture in March.

Gordon’s gamble: Salford to win by 13+ points is 15/8

Salford 19-man squad: Evalds, Welham, Bibby, Mossop, Dudson, Jones, Flanagan, Lussick, Walker, Burke, McCarthy, Tomkins, Olpherts, Lawton, Inu, Lannon, Lolohea, Hastings, J Johnson.

Catalans 19-man squad: Gigot, Mead, Wiliame, Smith, Casty, McIlorum, Garcia, Bousquet, Simon, Julien, Whitley, Da Costa, Goudemand, Albert, Maria, Romano, Yaha, Kasiano, Tomkins

Salford are 4/5 favourites, with Catalans 11/8 to avenge their early season defeat.
