Team news: Hull FC v Castleford (Thurs)

Drew Darbyshire

Jake Connor is set to return for Hull FC on Thursday, while Castleford will be without forward Mike McMeeken.

Lee Radford has been boosted by the returns of Jake Connor and Joe Westerman this week. England international Connor has served a one-match suspension, with Westerman making his comeback from injury.

Dean Hadley has been ruled out of the game though with an abdominal injury.

Castleford Tigers coach Daryl Powell has made two changes to his squad that beat Catalans Dragons last week. Youngsters Tuoyo Egodo and Jacques O’Neill have been brought into the squad to replace Mike McMeeken (concussion) and Matt Cook.

O’Neill could play in his first-ever Super League match on Thursday. Brad Fash and Danny Langtree haven’t made Hull’s squad this week.

The televised Super League round two clash takes place at the KCOM Stadium on Thursday, 7:45pm kick-off.

Drew dabble: This game has the ingredients to get quite feisty, and the odds for a player to be yellow carded is priced at 4/7.
